Crisis Resources

If you or someone you know is talking about or thinking of suicide, you need to get help now. Talk to someone immediately.

The Internet is not the place to deal with a crisis. If you need to talk to someone immediately, if you're feeling frightened or overwhelmed, or if you don't know what to do next, contact your local crisis service or distress centre. You will find their number in the front pages of the phone book or look for your local crisis service in this online directory.

If you believe you are in danger, or will harm yourself or someone else, call 911 or your local emergency response service. If you need urgent medical or psychiatric attention, go to the nearest emergency hospital now.

If you are in school, you can also speak to a counsellor, Public Health Nurse or staff at Student Health Services for additional support.

You deserve to get help.
